Here’s a new 20 cu. ft. down draft kiln we just built and shipped to Ohlone College. The kiln was installed by Leslie’s Ceramics. It has our Automatic Temperature Control System, and was custom designed to fit into the school’s enclosure.

Chaffey College just got a new customized Ceramic Services Soda/Salt Kiln. We designed this specially to be able to handle the process of Salt firing, with harder fire bricks, 7 inch thick walls (yes this puppy was HEAVY), and two layers of special insulation so the kiln will fire more efficiently and hold temperature.

With the help of Leslie Ceramics, Ceramic Services installed two 30 cu. ft. down-draft kilns at Walnut Creek Civic Arts Center, Ca.
Each Kiln is equipped with automatic temperature control system and programmed specifically for the customers firing cycles.
